Rothy’s Sandals

Who loves Rothy’s?? I DO! I DO! I was introduced to this brand a couple of years ago and have been in love ever since. In case you don’t know about this amazing company, Rothy’s is a sustainable brand that creates the most amazing shoes and recently bags. I have a few of their shoes and I love them all. My favorites being The Loafer.

They recently came out with incredible sandals. I was so luckily gifted The Knot style in Candy Apple from a wonderful person in my life.

I had a really hard time deciding between these and The Triple Band. I was worried the knots wouldn’t fit as comfortable and slide out, but after walking around the house with them, I think they will be great! The straps hug my feet comfortably. They were a little snug but their material tends to stretch a bit and form your feet perfectly. I still have my eye on the Triple band tho!

Why do I love Rothy’s?

  • Sustainability! Their signature thread is made from plastic water bottles, the outsoles are made from vegan leather and the footbeds are from plant-based materials.
  • Comfort. Every single pair I own is super comfortable and can be worn for hours. They are my favorite travel shoes!
  • Easy care! They are machine washable! Yeah, you heard that right. You can easily throw them in the washer and let them air dry. I’ve washed my loafers a few times and they look good as new every time.
  • Stylish! They have the most beautiful colors and patterns. Some of my favorites are olive and black camo.

The biggest con has to be the price. The sandals are $115 and the loafers being the most expensive at a whopping $165. I totally get why which is why I will continue to support this brand. I may or may not treat myself for my birthday in a couple of months! Maybe a handbag? AH! If only…

MOTD- Cinderella Collection

IMG_1064-1Thanks to my wonderful husband I own the majority of the MAC Cinderella collection. I sent him to the mall to pick up the beauty powder and the glitter the day they came out in store. He ended up coming  home with those two items, the eyeshadow palette, both lip glosses, and both lipsticks. I didn’t want to do a full on review since it’s not available and so many people missed out getting anything.

I absolutely love the eyeshadow palette. MAC did a wonderful job creating it. Today I used three of the colors, Omega (crease), Satin Taupe (lid), and Phloof (inner corner). My favorite eyeshadow in this palette is Satin Taupe. The good news is that all of the colors are permanent except for Stroke of Midnight (darkest one). Omega is also a great color, it’s perfect for the crease!

I have the Mystery Princess Beauty Powder. It’s described as a “pink beige with silver shimmers.” It has a very subtle shimmer and gives a nice light glow.

I lightly lined my lips with Whirl lip pencil. I then applied Free as a Butterfly lipstick and topped it off with the lipglass in Glass Slipper. The lipstick is a sheer nude, nothing special to be honest. I’m not really a lipgloss kind of gal but these lipglasses are beautiful. Glass slipper is a very light pink with silver and pink shimmers. I have yet to swatch the other lipstick or lipglass. I could possibly include them in a shade of the day!

Here’s a little casual OOTD as well!

Vegas OOTD’s

Since I went to Vegas last weekend I thought I would show you guys some of my outfits. Our flight departed at 8:45pm from Seattle on Thursday and arrived in Las Vegas around 10:30pm. I wanted to be comfortable on the flight so I wore a loose shirt and comfy shoes. When we arrived to the hotel all I did was touch up my makeup, add red lipstick, and put some sandals on. Plaids are my favorite because they are so versatile. You can go from the baggy boyfriend look to a tucked in chic casual look. This outfit would have also been cute with converse or booties.

I’m so disappointed for not taking a pic of my outfit the second night because I loved it! So here is a cropped up version of it. I wore ankle strap pumps from Just Fab but here are some similar ones. And can I just say I am OBSESSED with antique colored jewelry!

You can probably already tell most of my clothes are from Forever 21. I like to stay in the affordable range when it comes to purchasing trendy clothes. I’d rather splurge on a handbag, jacket, or a nice pair of jeans.

I apologize for the poor quality, I promise OOTD pictures will get better… Eventually!
